Solo Swimming in Santorini

I recently went solo swimming to Santorini.

1st October 2007 - 12th October 2007.

Santorini is a small island in the Aegean, in Greece:



I visited it alone for a few days, staying in Kamari. Few people knew that I actually went there:



I swam 2 kilometers every day, this distance back and forth:



Waking up at 7.00am every morning by Red Hot Chili Peppers - Snow as an alarm irrevocably destroyed the first few seconds of the song -- they remind me of freezing cold water ever since.

It was very enjoyable, allowed me to spend some time on my own, and make some decisions about what I want to do in life, in general. Yet again it was lonely and tiring sometimes, but I still liked it. Not sure if I'd do it again. It helped though.
